Last week Mexico Now magazine hosted its Auto Trade Summit on the Poliforum in Guanajuato, Leon. Guanajuato is likely one of the South Central Mexican states that has seen a large influx of automotive business international direct funding during the last several years.

The United States has one of many largest automotive markets on the earth, and is house to many international automobile and auto components producers. In 2017 alone, U.S. gentle automobile sales reached 17.1 million units, the third straight year wherein sales reached or surpassed $17 million. (Ward’s Automotive Stories, January 8, 2018). General, the United States is the world’s second-largest market for vehicle gross sales and production.

On April 2, 2017 (Beijing time), the North American Tsinghua Alumni Affiliation of Automotive Trade was inaugurated at the 2017 China-US Inexperienced Mobility and Smart Vehicles Worldwide Forum in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Almost 200 people attended the inauguration ceremony, including Tsinghua alumni from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Boston, Silicon Valley, Beijing and Shanghai, in addition to excellent persons within the automotive business. The newly-established organization will facilitate communication between Tsinghua alumni engaged in auto research and development all over the world to strengthen their fellowship and cooperation in accordance with the Tsinghua motto Self-Self-discipline and Social Dedication”.

Timo Unger, Hyundai Motor Europe’s environmental affairs supervisor, informed Chemical Watch that there are an increasing variety of vehicle manufacturers intending to incorporate the standards of their processes, comparable to in the buy situations or provider specs.
